Alan Parsons is an English artist (producer, sound engineer, singer, keyboardist and guitarist). During his career he has reaped 14 Grammy Awards nominations, the last one in 2018 for "Eye in the Sky - 35th Anniversary Edition" and has sold more than 50 million albums. Worldwide famous for his work as a sound engineer on The Beatles album "Abbey Road" and on "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, two of the iconic albums of all time.
In 1976, Parsons and keyboardist Eric Woolfson created the Alan Parsons Project and launched "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" (Arista, 1976), a concept album based on Edgar Allan Poe's stories.
In 1982, he reached his climax with "Eye in The Sky", which single with the same title became Parsons' biggest top sales. An album about the loss of individualism in today's society.
His discography is completed with various great hits, live albums and others in studio such as "Try Anything Once" (1993), "The Time Machine" (1999), "A Valid Path" in 2004 with David Gilmour of Pink Floyd on guitar and his latest album untitled "The Secret", upcoming next April 2019.
