Patio de la Tonelería
Alvaro Soler’s new album has been virtually an undisputable success. “Mar De Colores” (“Sea of colours”) confirms his mastery for songs. Songs which the whole world has been dancing since his first hits “El Mismo Sol” and “Sofia”, and that, in turn, allow us to appreciate his wide range of music: Spanish pop with folk, hip hop and world music elements and big orchestra sound. “Mar De Colores” is a sample of his various facets: intimate stories about a yearning for faraway places and being at home in Barcelona, Tokyo and Berlin told with charm and humour by a versatile singer-songwriter.
Alvaro Soler is more than just his summer hits: The 27-year-old musician, who currently commutes between Spain and Germany, has produced an album that combines, in a fair manner and without vanity, moving ballads, exiting rhythms and fiery hits. He is a sensitive song writer who has everything for the big stage. He has a great heart, a vast sense of humour and many things to say and the audience to listen to.
